CHAMELEON DESIGNS - BATHROOM

The bathroom was part of the refurbishment, a small room some 1.7m x 2,1 metres and with a sloping ceiling from doorway to window. The bath was originally situated under the window and meant there was no facility for a stand up shower. The room was poorly lit and no storage was in place for cleaning products, towels etc. The WC was kept on the same wall to make use of the soil pipe, as moving would this would have been considerable. By using the length of the room a shower bath was incorporated and separate thermostatic shower added. The basin used a semi- pedestal design and the WC was wall hung, making the floor space appear larger and easier to clean. The window was replaced with a double glazed unit and a new feature radiator added warmth to the room. The large, storage cupboard made place for storage of all bathroom items, whilst the neutral colour scheme, glass insert tiles and black slate effect floor added warmth, depth and character.
